Furnished Apartment Floor Plan

Every furnished apartment at Village Inn is laid out the same way: one bedroom with two queen beds, a separate living and dining room with a full kitchenette, and two full bathrooms. Roughly 650 square feet in total, sleeping up to four.

The kitchenette runs along one wall: a full-size fridge, a sink, a two-burner cooktop set flush into the granite, a dishwasher and a built-in microwave, under grey shaker cabinets. The living and dining side is on wood-look plank flooring and the bedroom is carpeted.

The two rooms are joined by an open doorway rather than a connecting door, and each has its own entrance from outside. That is what makes the apartment work for a family or for two colleagues sharing: nobody has to walk through the bedroom to reach the kitchen.

What the layout gives you

A few things about this plan matter more than square footage when you are staying a month or longer.

  • Two full bathrooms. One off each room, so a shared stay does not turn into a queue at seven in the morning.
  • A separate living and dining room. The dining table seats four and sits well clear of the kitchen run, so you can work at it during the day.
  • A real kitchenette. Full-size fridge, sink, two-burner cooktop, dishwasher and a built-in microwave along one wall, set into granite under grey shaker cabinetry. Not a bar fridge and a kettle on a shelf.
  • Two entrances. Each room opens to the outside, with space beside each door for a table to drop keys and post.
  • An open doorway between the rooms. No door to close, so the apartment lives as one space while still giving the bedroom its own corner.

The Village Inn is a FEMA Approved Hotel.
