Furnished Apartments in Winston-Salem, NC
44 fully furnished apartments with real kitchens, all utilities included and flexible 30-day terms. Move in this week.

Photographed on property. These are the actual furnished apartments, not renderings.
One monthly price for furnished apartments, nothing else to set up
Village Inn is not a hotel room with a microwave in it. In 2024 the property converted 44 units into full furnished apartments built for people who need somewhere to actually live for a month, a quarter or a season. You get an apartment with a real kitchen, but you also get a staffed front desk, an on-site restaurant and round-the-clock security, which is the part a private rental cannot give you.
The rate is $1,299 per month plus tax for stays of 30 days or longer. Electricity, water, cable television and high-speed Wi-Fi are all inside that number. Nothing gets transferred into your name, and nothing arrives as a surprise bill after you leave.
That single figure is the reason most people choose furnished apartments over a conventional rental. A twelve-month lease in the Triad means a deposit, an application, a credit pull, a furniture delivery, four utility accounts and a wait. Here you send dates and move in.
A kitchen you can cook in every night
A two-burner cooktop set flush into the granite, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in microwave, sink, coffee maker, cookware and utensils, under real cabinetry. For a 90-day assignment, cooking three or four nights a week is usually the difference between a stay that works and one that does not. It is also the single biggest reason people move from an extended-stay hotel into furnished apartments.
Utilities and Wi-Fi included
Electricity, water, cable and high-speed Wi-Fi, all inside the monthly rate on every one of the 44 furnished apartments.
Room to spread out
Every one of the furnished apartments runs roughly 650 square feet, with two full bathrooms in the renovated suites and a separate sitting area with a sofa. Sleeps up to four.
Laundry on the property
Guest laundry with washers and dryers on site, so a long stay never means hunting for a laundromat.
The rest of the property comes with it
- Fitness room
- Seasonal outdoor pool, May through September
- Crosby Pub & Restaurant on site
- Ample free parking on seven acres
- 24-hour front desk and 24-hour CCTV monitoring
- Transportation available for airport pickups and hospital commutes
- Non-smoking throughout
Terms that bend to the project
Thirty days is the minimum. Stays under 90 days run as a reservation with no lease at all. From 90 days a lease is signed, so the terms are written down for both sides. Either way there is no twelve-month commitment hanging over a project that might finish early.
Walk through the apartment before you commit
This is an unedited walkthrough of one of the furnished apartments, filmed on property. Front door to kitchen to bedroom to bathroom, in one take, at normal walking speed.
Most people booking temporary housing are doing it from another state, from a photo grid, with a start date already breathing down their neck. The video is here so you can see the ceiling height, the actual counter space and how the sitting area relates to the beds before you send a deposit anywhere.
Want to see it in person instead? We show the furnished apartments on weekdays. Ask for a walkthrough when you send your dates.
How to book a furnished apartment here, start to finish
Booking a furnished apartment should not take longer than the assignment itself. This is the whole process, and for most stays it runs in a day or two rather than a fortnight.
1. Send your dates
Use the form at the bottom of this page or call. We need an arrival date, a rough departure date and how many people are coming. If you do not know the end date yet, say so, because it changes what we recommend.
2. We come back with what is open
Usually the same business day. You get the apartments that fit your dates, the monthly rate, and the tax treatment for a stay of your length.
3. Set up billing
Individuals pay directly. Companies can be invoiced instead, so nobody expenses anything.
4. Confirm the unit
We hold the specific apartment and confirm it in writing. Walkthroughs happen here if you want one.
5. Pick up your keys
Check in at the front desk any time. Everything is already switched on and made up.
Extending or leaving early
Projects move. If yours runs long, tell the front desk and we extend the same apartment month to month rather than moving you. If it finishes early, give notice and settle up. Neither one carries the penalty a broken lease would, which is exactly why corporate apartments work well for unpredictable project timelines.
Who these furnished apartments are for
Village Inn sits between two things that usually do not overlap: an apartment you can live in and a hotel that takes care of you. That combination tends to matter most to a specific set of people.
If your situation is on this list, mention it when you inquire. It changes which of the apartments we put you in.
Companies relocating employees to the Triad
This is the corporate housing side of what we do. Corporate billing means one invoice to your accounts payable department instead of eleven employees expensing eleven hotel folios, and one contact can hold several furnished apartments under a single account.
Project teams and travelling crews
Construction, engineering, manufacturing installs and plant shutdowns. With 44 corporate apartments on one property, a crew stays together instead of scattering across four hotels off I-40.
Travelling nurses and medical contractors
Thirteen-week contracts line up almost exactly with what these furnished apartments were built for, and Novant Health Medical Park and the Wake Forest Baptist campuses are a short drive up Highway i-40. Transportation can also be arranged for airport pickups and hospital commutes, which helps when a contract starts before you have a car in the area.
Families between closings
Your sale closed, the new build slipped six weeks, and the storage unit is already full. A furnished apartment with a kitchen and two bathrooms handles that gap far better than adjoining hotel rooms.
Insurance placements and displaced residents
Village Inn is a FEMA-approved property and regularly houses residents placed by carriers after a loss. Adjusters can be billed directly.

Furnished apartment, extended-stay hotel, or a lease?
All three can house someone for three months. They are not equally good at it, and the honest answer depends on how long you need and how much administration you want to absorb.
| Village Inn furnished apartment | Extended-stay hotel | Conventional lease | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Move-in | Days | Days | Weeks, after approval |
| Furniture | Included | Included | You buy or rent it |
| Kitchen | Cooktop, dishwasher, full-size fridge | Microwave and a mini fridge | Full kitchen with an oven |
| Utilities and Wi-Fi | In the monthly rate | Usually included | Separate accounts you open and close |
| Space | About 650 sq. ft., two bathrooms | One room, one bathroom | Varies |
| Commitment | 30 days minimum, lease from 90 days | Nightly or weekly | Typically 12 months |
| Company billing | Direct invoicing available | Sometimes | Rarely |
| Ending early | Give notice under your agreement | Check out | Lease break penalty |
The short version: under a week, book a standard guest room. Over a year, sign a lease. Between 30 days and about nine months, a furnished apartment is almost always the cheaper and less painful answer, which is exactly the window these 44 units were built for.
What is already in the apartment, and what to bring
People arriving at a furnished apartment for the first time almost always over-pack. Here is the honest inventory so you can leave three boxes at home.
Anything on the second list is easy to pick up within walking distance of the property.
-
Already here
Beds made with linens, towels, pillows and blankets. Two-burner cooktop, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, built-in microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, plates, glasses and cutlery. Flat-screen televisions with cable, a work surface, an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, and individual temperature control in each room.
-
Shared on the property
Guest laundry with washers and dryers, the fitness room, the seasonal outdoor pool from May through September, and the Crosby Pub for the nights you do not feel like cooking.
-
Worth bringing
Your own pillow if you are particular, a favorite coffee mug, and anything specific your work requires. Long-stay guests often bring one favourite pan and a decent knife, because the kitchens are equipped for everyday cooking rather than for a chef.
-
Do not bother bringing
Furniture, a television, a router or kitchenware. All of it is already here, which is the whole point of a furnished apartment over an empty unit. Starter cleaning supplies are provided too, though you will want to top them up on a longer stay.
Where the furnished apartments are: Clemmons, minutes from Winston-Salem
The address is 6205 Ramada Drive, just off Exit 184 on I-40. Clemmons is the village immediately west of Winston-Salem, which means you get a quieter street and free parking on seven acres while still being a short drive from downtown.
The furnished apartments sit on seven acres set back from the road, and restaurants, a grocery store and shopping are within walking distance. Tanglewood Park, with its golf courses and walking trails, is a few minutes down Highway 158.
| Interstate 40, Exit 184 | Under 1 mile |
|---|---|
| Tanglewood Park | About 3 miles |
| Downtown Winston-Salem | Under 10 miles |
| Wake Forest University | Under 10 miles |
| Old Salem and Salem College | Under 10 miles |
| Piedmont Triad International Airport | About 33 miles |
Commutes from here are short and, more importantly, predictable. The Wake Forest Baptist medical campuses and Novant Health Medical Park are a straight run up Highway 158 or a few exits east on I-40. The manufacturing and distribution corridor along Union Cross Road sits on the far side of Winston-Salem, roughly half an hour outside rush hour. Piedmont Triad International Airport is about 33 miles east, which makes a Monday morning flight realistic without an overnight near the terminal.
Day to day, the practical stuff is close. There is a grocery store, a pharmacy and a dozen restaurants within a few minutes, and the Village Point shopping area is on the same side of I-40. Guests staying in the furnished apartments through the summer tend to end up at Tanglewood Park most weekends, which has golf, trails and a lake and costs very little to enter.
Book your furnished apartment through whichever platform you use
Booking direct is the fastest way to get the $1,299 monthly rate and to reach a person who can answer a question about a 90-day stay. If your company or your travel policy routes you somewhere else, the property is listed on all of these.
Questions about furnished apartments and corporate housing in Winston-Salem
How much do furnished apartments in Winston-Salem cost here?
Furnished apartments start at $1,299 per month plus tax for stays of 30 days or longer. That single figure covers the apartment, electricity, water, cable television, high-speed Wi-Fi and parking. Stays shorter than 30 days are booked at standard nightly rates instead.
Are utilities really included, or is there a cap?
Included, with no separate account in your name. You do not set up power or internet when you arrive and you do not close anything out when you leave. For a stay measured in weeks, that alone saves several hours and a couple of deposits.
What is the minimum stay for the monthly rate?
Thirty days. After the first 30 days you continue month to month for as long as you need. Most stays in the furnished apartments run between one and six months.
How big are the furnished apartments and what is the layout?
About 650 square feet. The renovated apartments have one bedroom with two queen beds, a separate living and dining room with a sofa, a full kitchenette and two full bathrooms, sleeping up to four. You can see the full floor plan here. Layouts vary between units, so tell us how many people are coming and we will match you to the right one.
Do you provide corporate housing for companies relocating staff?
Yes. Corporate housing is one of the main reasons companies use these furnished apartments. We invoice the company directly rather than each employee, hold several apartments under a single account, and add or release units as a project changes shape. Tell us how many people and roughly how long when you first get in touch and we will price it as a block.
Do you offer corporate billing?
Yes. Your company can be invoiced directly rather than having each employee pay and expense separately, and one contact can hold several apartments under a single account. Ask for corporate billing when you send your dates and we will set it up before arrival.
Can we reserve several corporate apartments for a team?
Usually, yes. There are 44 corporate apartments on the property, so blocks for project crews, travelling teams and group relocations can normally be arranged subject to availability. Larger or longer blocks are worth asking about early.
Is there a lease application or credit check?
It depends how long you are staying. Under 90 days there is no lease at all, just a reservation, which is why an apartment can be arranged in days rather than the weeks a rental application usually takes. From 90 days a lease is signed before arrival. Deposit, payment and screening requirements depend on the length of the stay, so ask our extended-stay team what applies to yours.
Is parking included, and is there enough of it?
Yes, and yes. The property sits on seven acres with more than 300 parking spaces, all free and all on site. Crews arriving in work vehicles generally have no trouble here.
Is transportation available to the airport or the hospitals?
Transportation can be arranged for airport pickups and for commutes to the Winston-Salem hospital campuses. Ask about it when you send your dates, particularly if your assignment starts before you have a car in the area. Novant Health Medical Park is roughly five miles away and the Wake Forest Baptist campuses about seven.
How far is it from downtown Winston-Salem?
Under ten miles. The property is just off Exit 184 on I-40 in Clemmons, which also puts Wake Forest University, Old Salem, Salem College, Winston-Salem State University and the UNC School of the Arts inside a ten-mile radius.
Is housekeeping included on a long stay?
Housekeeping is not included in the monthly rate. There is a guest laundry facility on the property with washers and dryers, and starter cleaning supplies are in the apartment when you arrive. If you want cleaning arranged during a longer stay, ask when you book.
Are pets allowed in the corporate apartments?
Pet policies depend on the unit and the length of the stay, so this is one to ask about directly rather than assume. Tell us the animal and the dates when you inquire and we will tell you what is possible.
What happens if my project runs longer than planned?
Tell the front desk before your month is up and we extend you in the same apartment rather than moving you. If the stay is heading past 90 days we will put it on a lease at that point, which is a short piece of paperwork rather than a fresh application. It is the most common reason guests here stay longer than they first expected.
Do you take insurance or FEMA placements?
Yes. Village Inn is a FEMA-approved property and works regularly with insurance carriers placing residents after a loss. Adjusters can be invoiced directly. Give us the claim contact when you inquire and we will handle the billing from there.
Can I see an apartment before booking?
Yes. There is an unedited walkthrough video further up this page, and in-person walkthroughs are available on weekdays. Ask for one when you send your dates.
Request availability and rates
Send your dates and we will come back with which furnished apartments are open, what they cost and how billing would work. Most inquiries are answered the same business day.
